Laryssa Waldron on TikTok?

Yes.

So, as I watched my oldest daughter, Jillian, rushing headlong into adulthood, I realized that she would need some encouragement out there. And (now, prepare to be shocked 😳) that there were some things I hadn’t taught her yet.

In fact, after she turned 18, a family friend asked Jill to teach her how to drive. Jill was an adult now, the 12 year old reasoned. My daughter cleverly said, “Oh, I can’t do that, I’m just a baby adult.” This made me laugh! But, I also wanted my girl to feel confident out in the world, and to have some help and encouragement along the way.

With those thoughts in mind, I began to post some videos of advice, tips and hacks for facing college, living away from home, cooking, etc. My winning day came when she texted that she had used the video on the Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Shake to make for breakfast one morning!

So, I made a few videos, and I think they’re helpful for other ‘baby adults”. I also found that I can’t get the entire video to post on Instagram or Facebook. So for those who don’t have TikTok – I made a menu that links to the videos so you can easily find them and see them in all their glory (without having to join).

Now, a short time later, I find that same young woman (that baby adult) a week away from getting married! I guess the posts will change a bit but hopefully they will still be helpful as we move into the new unknown that, again, I’m sure I haven’t properly prepared her for.

What do you think? I’d love to hear your ideas.
